JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – It checks out such as a renter’s nightmare: Infested with rodents, dripping roof and stoves that don’t work.
During the period of 2 days in belated February, town inspectors found significantly more than a dozen devices at Downtown East flats that were smoke that is missing, multiple devices infested with rodents and roaches, and many devices with damaged ceilings as a result of leaks from either a damaged roof or perhaps a plumbing work drip through the floor above.
Within one product, inspectors noted the system that is electric “improperly wired” within the home.
Entirely, employees with City of Jacksonville Code Enforcement started 40 instances and reported 238 violations at Downtown East Apartments.
The complex, formally referred to as Franklin Arms, is owned by Flknarrs LLC. Company documents reveal the ongoing company relies away from Austin, Texas.
